PRIVATE EVENTS
I provide solo acoustic music for birthdays, anniversaries, dinner parties, house parties, milestone celebrations, rehearsal dinners, and other private gatherings.
The setup is simple: live vocals and acoustic guitar, with a broad mix of familiar pop, rock, country, and acoustic favorites. The music can be shaped around the size of the gathering, the setting, and the kind of experience you want for your guests.
WHERE IT FITS
Solo acoustic music works well for private events where you want music to be part of the gathering without making the event feel like a concert.
That can mean welcoming guests as they arrive, playing during cocktails or dinner, or providing music throughout a relaxed house party or celebration. For some events, the music stays mostly in the background. For others, it can become a more featured part of the event, giving guests the opportunity to engage, make requests, and be more involved with the music.
TAILORED TO YOUR EVENT
Before the event, we can talk through the kind of music you want, any songs or artists you’d like included, and whether you want the music to stay more in the background or be something guests can interact with.
Once the event starts, I keep an eye on how people are responding. If guests are talking and catching up, the music can stay more laid back. If people start making requests, singing along, or paying more attention to the music, I can lean into that and make it a bigger part of the party.
The goal is for the music to fit the way the event is actually unfolding, so you can spend your time with your guests instead of worrying about what the entertainment is doing.
A FEW THINGS TO KNOW
I bring the sound system needed for vocals and acoustic guitar. I don’t need a stage or a large performance area, so the setup can work in a living room, on a patio, beside a pool, in a backyard, or in a traditional event space.
Indoor and outdoor parties are both fine. For outdoor events, I’ll just need access to power and a covered or protected area if weather could be an issue.
If there are particular songs or artists that are important to you, send them my way ahead of time. We can also talk through any special moments during the party where you want a certain song or where the music needs to stop or start at a particular time.
